Meet Eliza

Eliza Douglas, FNP

Eliza Douglas was born and raised in Memphis and developed a passion for serving women and advancing women's health from an early age while attending Hutchison School. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Great Texts from Baylor University, where she also studied biology and completed an Honors Thesis exploring the impact of yellow fever in Memphis. After returning home, Eliza completed the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Union University and began her nursing career in the Emergency Department at Baptist East in 2021. She went on to earn her Master of Science in nursing from Union University in 2024. 

During her clinical rotations with Dr. Podraza, Eliza discovered her passion for the integrative, restorative approach to women's healthcare practiced at Harmony Women's Health. She completed training in NaProTechnology through the Saint Paul VI Institute and became a certified Creighton Model FertilityCare Practitioner following the completion of her master's program. NaProTechnology focuses on identifying and treating the underlying causes of gynecologic and fertility concerns while working cooperatively with a woman's natural cycle. 

Eliza enjoys helping women better understand their cycles and partnering with them to achieve their goals, whether they are seeking pregnancy, managing gynecologic concerns, or naturally avoiding pregnancy. 

Outside of the office, Eliza enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and extended family in Memphis. She loves staying active through running, swimming, and tennis, and is committed to being a lifelong learner--continually growing through her reading, her patients, and the world around her.
